We hope 2025 is off to a great start for you! We know that staying informed about your treatment is important, and we want you to feel supported every step of the way. Our team is working hard to ensure continued access to safe and effective GLP-1 medications, despite the ongoing changes in the market. We appreciate your patience and trust as we navigate this together.
1. Important Updates on Compounded GLP-1 Medications
Unless the court issues a delay, large-scale 503A pharmacies such as Hallandale will stop distributing compounded Tirzepatide on February 18th.
The good news? Smaller specialty pharmacies, like Northwest Compounding, plan to continue production with added ingredients like glycine, B6, or B12 to help reduce side effects and improve tolerance.
Additionally, Medivant pre-filled Tirzepatide syringes will be available until mid March though we were recently informed of a price increase. Our prices will stay the same but may be subject to change if manufacturing prices continue to increase. See this link for up to date information on the latest compounding news.
What does this mean for you?
• Compounded Semaglutide is still available, with no current restrictions.
• Compounded Tirzepatide is still in production, and we’re committed to keeping it available as long as possible.
-
We continue to offer discounts on two, three, and six-month supplies for those looking to secure their medication at the best price.
We know this is a changing landscape, and we are monitoring it closely. Rest assured—we will keep you updated and help you make the best decisions for your care.
2. A Strong Warning Against Research Peptides
We are seeing more “research peptides” pop up online as alternatives for GLP-1 medications. These products are labeled “not for human use” or “research purposes only”, and we strongly advise against using them.
Here’s why:
-
No Quality Control – These products aren’t tested for safety, purity, or effectiveness.
-
Unknown Safety Risks – You are injecting a substance with no established safety data, putting yourself at risk for severe side effects or contamination.
-
No Accountability – There’s no way to track batches or issue recalls if something goes wrong.
Your health and safety are always our top priorities. At Flow Wellness, we only work with trusted compounding pharmacies that meet the highest safety standards. If you have any questions about your medication, we are here to help.
