Happy New Year from Flow Wellness! We recognize and applaud your commitment to a healthy and productive 2025. Our dedicated team of clinicians and support staff are here to help you achieve your wellness goals and make this year your healthiest yet.

Update on Compounding Medications
We continue to be in communication with our legal team and our partner pharmacies. Last month, the FDA announced that 503(a) pharmacies will no longer be able to produce “essential copies” of Tirzepatide after February 18th, 2025. 503(a) pharmacies include: NW Compounding, Mountain Care, Hallandale, Strive, Red Rock, and Empower.  503(b) pharmacies (PQ, Medivant) will now longer be able to distribute medication past March 19th, 2025.

Given the upcoming changes in compounded Tirzepatide availability, we are offering three and six month discounts on orders of Tirzepatide. Medivant prefilled syringes have expiration dates in June/July 2025 and Tirzepatide vials from Hallandale do not expire until December 2025. These extended expiration medications do not contain any additives (such as Vitamin B12). Contact us for a customized quote for a multi-month order.

Some our partner pharmacies are planning to continue producing Tirzepatide with specialty additives past the February deadline (i.e. compounded Tirzepatide that is not an “essential copy.”) These additives can include: Vitamin B12 to help offset fatigue and glycine to mitigate muscle loss associated with weight loss. There could be unforeseen legal obstacles beyond the upcoming FDA deadlines so we cannot guarantee future availability of compounded Tirzepatide. Understandably this is confusing but keep in mind this is uncharted legal territory due to the extremely high demand of GLP-1 weight loss medications.

Semaglutide remains on the FDA shortage list though the manufacturer has reported all doses available. Multiple other new GLP-1 medications are in the pipeline though FDA approval often takes years. Please note the FDA prohibits the compounding of Retratrutide, which is still in clinical trials. This medication is potentially more effective than Tirzepatide. Flow Wellness only offers medications from legally operating US pharmacies and we trust to deliver high quality and safe medication.

For further background, please visit our blog post on this topic. The lawsuit filed by compounding pharmacies against the FDA is still ongoing with additional legal briefs being submitted this month. There is also the possibility the new administration may change the regulatory landscape.

Refunds
Please note that refunds and exchanges are not available for dispensed medication.

Clinic Updates
A new retail client will be moving into the Bend clinic’s downstairs space. As a result, we have relocated our sharps drop-off to the upstairs clinic space. After-hours medication pick-up is no longer available. Our clinic is open Monday to Thursday 9 am to 5 pm and Friday 8 am – 3 pm. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we adapt to these changes.

Our Seattle clinic remains open by appointment only.

Our clinicians remain available for consultation but require an appointment. Your clinician is available via the portal or you can set up an appointment via this link.

As we embrace the possibilities of the new year, Flow Wellness is here to support your health and wellness goals. Let’s work together to make 2025 a year of positive change, growth, and vibrant well-being.

Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
