Greetings from Flow Wellness. It has been a wild month for compounded GLP-1 medication! October started with the FDA removing Tirzepatide from the shortage list with some pharmacies immediately shutting down. A subsequent lawsuit filed by compounding pharmacies led to the FDA reconsidering their decision and allowing compounding pharmacies to resume production. An update is anticipated November 21st. Semaglutide was also listed as “available” by Novo Nordisk on October 31st which may lead to additional compounding restrictions. More information available here. Please contact your provider via the patient portal or scheduling a follow up visit on-line. Please note some clinicians prefer telephone follow ups and others prefer video follow ups. If you can not schedule a time, please send an email to info@theflowwellness.com. For any general questions, our team is available by phone Monday through Thursday 9 am -5 pm and Friday 8 am -3 pm. We are closed on weekends and major holidays. If your phone call goes to voicemail, please leave a message and we will call you back.
